Helico Spiral Bars provide an effective masonry reinforcement solution for new construction and for remedial work in existing buildings. Suitable for concrete reinforcement applications as well.

Manufactured from TYPE 304 austenitic stainless steel . Helico Spiral Bars provide excellent corrosion resistance and are available in 7.5mm widths with material thickness of 2mm. Standard length is 3 metres.

INSTALLATION
  1. Place Helico Spiral Bars into bedjoint by pushing down into a fresh bed of mortar.

  2. For remedial work, existing bedjoint should be raked out to required depth. Insert the spiral bar, then fill and finish with compatible mortar.

  3. As always, Helico Spiral bars should be installed by a qualified contractor. Installation must be approved by the project engineer.
